Proprietary For a truly exceptional winetasting experience, enjoy our Proprietary Series. Each harvest, our winemaker, Erik Olsen, carefully isolates certain lots of fruit, distinguished by their extraordinary varietal expression. These wines are the building blocks of the Proprietary Series wines: Marlstone, Briarcrest and Calcaire. Produced in limited quantities, these wines embody the remarkable fruit of the Alexander Valley, Russian River Valley and Erik's award-winning skill as an artisan winemaker. Swirl, sniff and savor.

Special Releases Every once in awhile, the Clos du Bois winemaking team will release a winery exclusive wine. Made in very limited quantities, these wines are available only through the tasting room or online store.

J. Garcia While inextricably linked to music in the public's mind – guitarist, songwriter, singer – Jerry Garcia was also a talented painter, trained at the prestigious San Francisco Art Institute. During his years as a musician, he created hundreds of fascinating paintings and drawings.

In 2003, Clos du Bois formed an artistic partnership with the Jerry Garcia Estate, crafting a special set of wines under a new J. Garcia label. The label for each new release features a piece chosen from Jerry's colorful and engaging portfolio.

J. Garcia wines pay tribute to the late artist's wide-ranging creativity, combining the vibrant art of Jerry's paintings with the vibrant winemaking style of Clos du Bois' winemaker Erik Olsen. Produced in limited quantities, current releases include Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon & Zinfandel.
