The cornerstone of this portfolio is Blackstone's California Merlot, the number-one-selling domestic red wine in the United States at any price.

We could have let the success of our flagship Merlot go to our heads. Instead, we rolled up our sleeves and expanded our product line to include select appellations and multi-appellation blends at every price range. These wines are part of our Sonoma Reserve Series, Prestige Appellation Series and the Blackstone Reserve Range.

Sonoma Reserve Series & Prestige Appellation Wines - Handcrafted Wines Worth Sharing

Variety is the spice of life - and it also makes great wine. The microclimates and soils of Sonoma County produce a wide range of flavors, and our Prestige Appellation wines highlight and best of them. Artisan techniques and individual barrel selection let the character of each vineyard come through, producing wines with bold fruit and rich texture. Slightly more complex than our Winemaker Select series, there wines are prices between $16-$24.

Our Winemaker, Gary Sitton, handcrafts our Reserve Range wines from some of Sonoma County's premier appellations - Russian River Valley, Sonoma Valley, Dry Creek Valley and Sonoma Coast. By selecting only the finest vineyards lots of barrels, our winemaker creates wines with unusual depth and intensity. These special, limited-production wines are what highfalutin tasting was invented for, and they represent the very best of Blackstone.
