The tour starts with a discussion of the Arrowood estate vineyard as well as various Sonoma County vineyards, the source of all Arrowood wines. Learn about the Arrowood winemaking philosophy, history and winemaking techniques. Take a walk through the winery, cellar and vineyards, and learn what it takes to grow the best quality grapes and make exceptional wines. Top off your adventure with a private sit-down tasting of four wines from our current releases. Approximate length of the tour is 90 minutes, with a maximum of six guests. Arrowood Winery Tour Offered daily at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., by advanced appointment only Tariff: $20 per person The tour will include a walk around the property and estate vineyards, concluding with a tasting at the wine bar while discussing the philosophy and history of Arrowood Vineyards & Winery. The approximate length of the tour is 40 minutes with up to six guests. Don’t Forget the Donkeys… Rosie and Duster seem content to be lazy most of the time, but they are actually very hard at work. The two resident donkeys not only keep the property’s fire hazard low grazing the hillside, but they also enjoy being part of our public relations program. They are a friendly team who really enjoy being talked to and having their foreheads scratched. Arrowood has always had a team of donkeys taking care of the grounds and visitors alike – the first pair came from a rescue mission from the floor of the Grand Canyon in the early 80’s and were living on the property when the Arrowood’s first purchased it. | | | | |
