Experience the Vineyards Up Close, There's No Better Way than by Bike

Our daily bike tours offer you the opportunity to cycle from winery to winery in the open air right alongside the vineyards. Touring the wine country by bike is a far more exhilarating and memorable experience than viewing the valley from the inside of a rental car... So what are you waiting for? Once you’ve found the tour that appeals to you, click on the Reserve Now button at the top of the tour page, or contact us directly at 1.800.707.BIKE (2453).

General Information:

  • Helmets are required (we provide them)
  • Most tours require guests to arrive at our shop by 9:30 a.m.
  • Full-day tours return to our shop between 3 and 5 p.m.; half-day tours finish between 1 and 2 p.m.
  • We tour rain or shine. For more information, please visit our Weather page.
  • Most guests dress casually for our bike tours. We will provide a gel seat upon request.
  • Closed-toe shoes and dressing in layers are both good ideas. You can abandon unwanted gear and clothing in the van as needed.

If our Ride, Wine & Dine Tour sounds nearly perfect, but you'd like to have your morning or afternoon free for other activities, we invite you to join us for a Half-Day Ride & Wine Tour.

With two departure times offered daily*, you can choose to start at 9 a.m. and be done by 12:30 p.m., or sleep-in and start your half–day tour at 12:30 p.m., which finishes by 4 p.m. Either way, you'll pedal at a casual pace and visit 2-3 wineries along the way. *9 a.m. Departure offered seasonally, April 1st through Oct. 31st.

Ride Off-Road Through the Vineyards, Who Knew Wine Country Could be this Fun!

If you find yourself experiencing an inexplicable urge to jump out of the car and run through the rows of planted vines, our Cycling "In" the Vineyards Tour will give you that chance - only you'll do it on a mountain bike rather than on foot.

To date, only one Sonoma Valley winery allows off-road biking tours through its vineyard property - which is why this unique experience is not to be missed! Best of all, the vineyard property we'll be touring borders the northernmost stretches of the San Francisco Bay. The marshlands found here are a federally designated wildlife preserve, home to an array of wetland birds including herons, mallards and egrets.
