SINGLE VINEYARD These wines are Gina and Matt Gallo's unique interpretation of the diverse micro-climates in Sonoma, showcasing unique characteristics of our family's vineyards. Barrelli Creek Vineyard Originally planted in the 1880s, Barrelli Creek Vineyard is in the hillside benchlands of Alexander Valley. The warmest of our Sonoma County vineyards, Barrelli Creek Vineyard has gravel, sand, silt and clay soils which give richness, depth and intensity to the Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel grapes grown here. Frei Ranch Vineyard Home to our Gallo Family Vineyards Winery, where all our Sonoma wines are produced, our family's Frei Ranch Vineyard was originally planted in the 1880s. We have been buying grapes from Frei Ranch since 1933 and bought it in 1977. Located in Dry Creek Valley, the warm days and cool nights slowly ripen the fruit which results in refined and elegant wines. Laguna Vineyard Originally planted in the late 1880s, our family's Laguna Vineyard is in the hillsides of the Russian River Valley. The lingering fog makes this one of the coolest of our Sonoma vineyards and the soils here are a combination of gravelly and sandy loam, perfect for the Chardonnay planted here. Stefani Vineyard Our family's Stefani Vineyard is between Dry Creek Valley and Alexander Valley and is distinguished by its unique combination of early morning fog and gravelly clay soil. Two Rock Vineyards Our family's Two Rock Vineyard is located in the southern benchlands of Sonoma Coast, in the Petaluma Gap. It has a cool climate with winds and heavy fog from the San Francisco Bay that lingers into the afternoon. Our winemakers carefully craft these wines, producing only a limited number of cases. The wine community consistently recognizes our Estate wines as among the world's best. WINEMAKER'S SIGNATURE SERIES We also pour Gina Gallo’s own Winemaker’s Signature Series wines at the Tasting Room. Less than 400 cases of each varietal are handcrafted every year and just distributed through our Tasting Room and Wine Club.
