Since The Shelford House is so centrally located, we are only minutes to wineries in both Sonoma and Mendocino counties, and less than 2 hours to the quaint Victorian town of Mendocino and the Pacific Coast.
WE ARE EASY TO FIND!
Just an easy drive North of San Francisco straight up Highway 101, approximately 75 miles from the Golden Gate Bridge. We are located only a half mile from downtown Cloverdale, at the Northern tip of the Alexander Valley Appellation. Over 100 wineries are available for Wine Tasting and Tours within minutes of The Shelford House.
MAP/DIRECTIONS
 From San Francisco:
Take Highway 101 North and follow the signs to the Golden Gate Bridge. Proceed North on Highway 101 to Cloverdale and exit at Citrus Fair Drive. Make a right turn on Citrus Fair Drive, then make a left turn onto Asti Road. Proceed to the end of Asti Road and make a right turn onto First Street/Crocker Road. Follow this road over the Russian River, through the Alexander Valley, and the Inn is on the corner of Crocker Road and River Road on the right.
The Shelford House Bed & Breakfast Inn is approximately 80 miles North of San Francisco. (Approximately 100 Miles from SFO, Oakland or Sacramento Airports)
There is also limited Air Service into the Charles Schultz (Snoopy) Airport in Santa Rosa, just 30 minutes from The Shelford House.
